Poster Prize

Journal of Optics
is glad to sponsor a student poster prize.

The poster competition will be organised to award the best poster presented by research students.
The awards will be given during the Poster Prize Award Ceremony by Claire Bedrock and Ian Osborne
Time: Thursday evening January 6th, 2013
Location: Olympia Room

Instructions to participate in the competition:

  1. Are you a PhD Student?
  2. Have you submitted a poster to Nanometa 2013?
  3. Was it accepted by the Conference Committee?


If all answers are Yes, you have the possibility to participate in the Poster Competition. Just send an email with your Paper Number Reference (ex. TUE4f.??) to Ophélia Fornari (o.fornari@eps.org) before 2 December 2012.

NO MORE REQUEST ACCEPTED - THE DEADLINE IS PASSED.

 

2013 Winners:  The IOP Journal of optics prizes went to:

JA Dockrey, University of Exeter. for "Thin Metamaterials Luneburg lens for surface waves"
And
Steven Person, University of Rochester, for "Demonstration of zero backscatter from single dielectric nano particle".
